 Demo by prof. Fabian Dembski, architect Artur Staskevits, the head of TalTech XR centre, project manager Mai Andresson, City of Tallinn.

Avalinn is a space equipped with immersive reality device designed to engage citizens in spatial planning processes in the City of Tallinn. Avalinn was created in collaboration between the City of Tallinn, the researchers of TalTech and Aalto University, FinEst Centre and the Stuttgart High Performance Computing Centre HLRS in the Green Twins project directed by prof Dembski. Avalinn was completed and opened in September 2023.

The excursion bus starts from the meeting venue (Akadeemia tee 15a) at 14pm.

The excursion will end at the Palace hotel where You can collect Your luggage at 17:30. After this, the excursion bus will first drive to the Tallinn airport where prof. Jaan Kuusemets will present the new plans for the airport extension and the NBAA participants who will take a plane can check in. From the airport, the excursion bus will continue to the Tallinn harbour and the D-terminal where You can catch the Tallink ferry to Helsinki at 19:30 (gate closes at 19:10).

Trolley bus 3

Trolley bus 3 stops on the opposite side of the street of the Palace hotel. Trolley bus 3 takes You to the TalTech campus. Leave the bus on the second-last stop („Keemia“) and You will see the meeting venue (ICT building or Infotehnoloogia maja) on the opposite side of the street.
