Alongside the school meeting, we would also like to invite your students to participate in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Adaptive Materials Workshop “Bio-Based Fibre Architecture” 2026, to be held whole week at Riga Technical University, Institute of Architecture and Design.
Adaptive Materials Workshop 2026 is an interdisciplinary, hands-on programme that brings together students and academic staff to explore sustainable architectural design through bio-based knitted textiles, engineered timber, and large-scale 3D printing, integrating material literacy, digital tools, and experimental making into a collaborative hybrid design process.
We warmly invite students from your school to take part in the workshop. Erasmus+ invitations will be provided for participating students, as well as for academic staff. For coordination and further information regarding the workshop, please contact eliza.vilcina@rtu.lv.
